Technical Information

We can offer small bore products in the following construction:

• Flexible PVC with textile braided reinforcement up to 80 bar working pressure
• Flexible PVC tubing in fuel resistant compound
• Non toxic flexible PVC with knitted textile reinforcement
• Polyurethane in mono extrusion or textile braided reinforcement

Materials used in the construction include:

• Flexible fuel resistant PVC
• Polyurethane
• PVC alloys

This expanding range of textile reinforced small bore hoses has been developed to meet the needs of general industry, pneumatics, agricultural crop spraying and horticultural markets.

We are using new polymers to increase performance of these products and many of them are manufactured in non-toxic grade as standard. See also Ragno CR (food quality), Ragno PU (food quality) and Soleil Premier.

We have recently introduced polyurethane tubings and hoses to this range. See also Ragno Total PU, Mono PU and Benzina.

Special features:
• We will brand hoses with customers names (subject to minium quantity)
• We will fit couplings to hoses
• We will shrink-wrap or poly-bag with customer roundel or header card
• Many standard stock hoses are non-toxic quality

All technical specifications apply to a temperature of 23°C +/- 2°C (ISO 291). Any increase of temperature, above or below, will affect the performance data. Tolerance on all specification +/- 5%.

Product: 926003 - SPIRALINA

Description: Rigid PVC spiral.

Temperature: -10°C to +60°C (briefly up to +70°C).

Application: Protection of oil-dynamic hoses. Wrapping groups of hoses. Abrasion and crush resistance.

Advantages: Very good resistance to atmospheric agents. Abrasion and crush resistance. Flame resistant according to UNI ISO 3795

How much Spiralina do you need: Method of calculation:
Outside Ø of the hose in mm. divided by Inside Ø of the Spiralina in mm. multiplied by length of the hose in mtrs. equals total mtr. of Spiralina required.
