Colour variation can be applied on Airflex SL, Vohran, Ragno CR, Ragno PU and Armoflex PVC hoses.

The colouring is obtained by applying a coat of metallic paint, made of a special resin that supports metallic pigments, free of heavy metals like lead or chrome. This layer gives high brilliance and abrasion resistance.

The organic solvents used during the production process are not classified as toxic.

Tests performed without causing any alteration:

• Resistance to atomised salty solution; CASS TEST according to UNI ISO 9227/93 standard (accelerated atomised solution)
• Hundred-fold rubbing with an alcohol soaked cloth
• Rubbing with creamy detergent with soft sponge
• Continuous exposure for 336 hours, to the light of a 300 W Ultra-Vitalux Tungsten filament lamp
• Daily spraying with an antibacterial product over a period of 10 days
• Daily spraying with a scale removing product over a period of 10 days
• Continuous immersion in water with a temperature between 38 degrees celcius and 45 degrees celcius, for a period of 144 hours, before a tendency to turn opaque was registered

All technical specifications apply to a temperature of 23°C +/- 2°C (ISO 291). Any increase of temperature, above or below, will affect the performance data. Tolerance on all specification +/- 5%.

Product: 650 - ARIFLEX SL - SHOWER HOSE WRC APPROVED

Description: A highly flexible shower hose, light in weight, robust, easy to handle, extremely long-lasting, it does not elongate or scratch the bath. Soft PVC hose reinforced by 8 longitudinal yarns to give pressure resistance and prevent elongation. Metalized or coloured tape spiral for better finish and to help pressure resistance. Outside cover of clear PVC. Equipped with polyurethane joints which are moulded directly on the hose to ensure perfect tightness.

Pressure Resistance: 40 bar at +20°C and 28 bar at +45°C

Pulling Resistance: 50kg at + 20°C

Standard Lenghts: 1.25, 1.5, 1.75 and 2.00 mtr.
Supplied in 1/2" x 1/2" chrome nuts or conical nuts in chromed brass or ABS grade.

Note: A choice of colours is available including a colour co-ordinated ABS nut.
