Description: Made from thermoplastic polyurethane extruded through a polyester weave.
Temperature Range: -50°C +75°C
Applications: The hoses are developed for the latest environmentally friendly slurry distribution systems. These systems require hoses to be connected between slurry reservoirs and tow-tractors from which slurry is injected into, or spread on the ground. The dragging in the field puts great strain on the hose. This requires exceptional tensile strength and abrasion resistance.
Advantages: The weave is designed to meet the demand for exceptional tensile strength as well as keeping bend radius at a minimum. The uniform wall thickness of 3.5mm through the range gives the hoses sufficient 'body' of polyurethane to ensure 'long life' but still maintains the required flexibility in operation. Standard lengths: 100/200/300 metres.
Note: To obtain maximum lifetime of the hose, it is recommended that actual working tensile strength should not exceed 1/3 of the stated theoretical tensile strength. A maximum of 30psi at inlet or tractor is required for hose to perform.
