All technical specifications apply to a temperature of 23°C +/- 2°C (ISO 291). Any increase of temperature, above or below, will affect the performance data. Tolerance on all specification +/- 5%.

Product: 911042 - DETROIT

Description: A solid nylon crush recoverable helix embedded in a black thermoplastic insertion rubber compound reinforced corrugated cover. The duct has a smooth bore.

Temperature: -40°C to +150°C (max. 170°C for short periods)

Application: The ducting is designed for the safe and efficient removal of noxious fumes from vehicle workshops and loading bays, air heaters, hot and cold air intake, oil mist extraction systems, dust, fume and chemical extraction.

Advantages: The ducting will recover its full profile if accidentally run over. Despite it's durability the ducting is lightweight and very flexible. Suitable for hose reels. It can be used either from suspended reels or can be connected from exhausts using a suitable baffle. Excellent high and low temperature resistance. Various fittings available.

Note: Also available with 'high visibility coloured helix' on some sizes.
